Peter has been living in Oman since 1978. His role as an Environmental Impact Assessment Officer in the oil industry has allowed Peter to explore almost every inch of this beautiful country. It was obvious to him that not enough people knew about this enchanting land. When setting up RDA his aim was to give visitors to this country the most authentic cultural experience possible.
Making Peter’s vision a reality is our MD Will. With many years experience in the travel industry, he also saw the potential Oman has to be one of the leading travel destinations in the world. His love of undiscovered and unspoiled lands has inspired him to make the Arabian experience accessible to every traveller.
A former yacht captain, Jon was lured to Oman by crystal clear waters, 1,700 km of pristine beaches, and by largely unexplored reefs; he boasts Oman as having some of the most breathtaking coastlines in the world. Having spent time captaining yachts around the Adriatic Sea, Jon has ample experience working in destinations whose tourism is at its infancy.
Although her first move to the Middle East was to Bahrain 2 years ago, a short trip to Oman last year was enough to entice her to move to this breathtaking country. Having fallen in love with its spectacular mountains and deep winding Wadis Andrea strives to share the magic and adventure that lies within Oman with those that are not aware of the treasures it beholds. Alan has been living in Oman for over 5 years. An adventure travel enthusiast and a keen sportsman, Alan was drawn to Oman by the limitless variety of activities Oman has to offer. From hiking and rock climbing, caving and diving, surfing and wind surfing there is something for everyone.
Having worked in Oman Air for over 20 years Aly has experienced first hand the change in the tourism service industry of Oman. On leaving Oman Air he joined Rawabi and has been instrumental in putting together ideas for new trips as well as in getting permission for the launch of Oman’s first commercial hot air balloon. Aly’s knowledge is second to none and guests always enjoy themselves when ‘Aly Baba’ is guiding.
Having worked in this beautiful country for 26 years, Denny could say, Oman is his home away from home. His 24 years experience with a multi-national company in Accounts and Administration equipped him to face day-to-day problems with practical approach. Entrusted with responsibility in the same field, he is confident to discharge duties to the entire satisfaction of RDA’s Managing Director.
